ViewTouch is the world's original point of sale application and desktop window manager, created in 1986. ViewTouch is offered under the GNU Public Licence and runs on the Raspberry Pi computers and Debian GNU Linux, a vast, rich, software userland alternative to the proprietary constraints which are imposed on users of software software offered by Apple, Microsoft and Android. ViewTouch point of sale and the programs readily available on the ViewTouch Desktop give users a point of sale solution over which they have a vast array of freedoms, including access to the source code, hosted at GitHub.
