Simplifya was founded by partners from Vicente Sederberg, the law firm that drafted the original rules governing marijuana in Colorado, and investors with proven track records in technology startups. The original idea was to simplify the process of conducting regulatory compliance audits - something lawyers were being asked to do with increasing regularity. That seed has since sprouted into a comprehensive compliance hub that addresses the needs of marijuana businesses and related service companies across the country. In addition to audits, the app now contains features for SOPs, document storage, employee badge validation, remediation reports, and more.
