Virtunet Systems was founded in 2010 with the idea of alleviating storage IO issues within virtualized servers. Our VirtuCache software improves the storage performance of VMware VMs by automatically caching ‘hot’ data from any SAN array to any in-host SSD or RAM. Our team is made up of kernel engineers and business folks from various systems and virtualization startups that were ultimately acquired by Intel, Netapp, Alcatel-Lucent, and HP. We have been profitable and debt free every year since founding, and we are entirely employee owned. IT departments at large organizations like France Telecom, AXA, Stanford, ServiceNow, Verint, Providence Health; many local government agencies; regional MSPs; and SMBs use VirtuCache.
